Objective: The study aimed to verify the procedures of the Israeli educational policy on the book “Geography of Palestine and its Modern and Contemporary History” for the tenth grade. Method: The descriptive analytical approach was used by analyzing and comparing the content of “The Geography of Palestine and its Modern and Contemporary History” for the tenth grade, first and second parts, issued by the Palestinian Ministry of Education, with the content of the same one that the Israeli censorship in the Ministry of Education and the Jerusalem Municipality changed it, and determined the size and quality of the change. Results: Results indicated that the change in the revised textbook (Geography of Palestine and its Modern and Contemporary History) for the tenth grade was mainly concentrated in the areas/elements of: awareness of national history and cultural heritage at a rate of (35.2%), then appreciation of the geographical and natural importance of Palestine at a rate of (27.3%). Conclusions: The procedures of forgery in its various forms (distortion, obliteration, and substitution) have affected the key elements in determining the national, cultural, and religious identity of Palestinian students, meaning that the education policies under occupation aim to erase Palestinian identity. Recommendations: The necessity of the Palestinian Ministry of Education taking preventive measures in accordance with international laws to protect the Palestinian curriculum from the interference of the Israeli occupation authority, preserving Palestinian history stories in educational curricula to enhance national identity, and establishing a Palestinian electronic platform in which videos, activities and papers are presented. Work on the Palestinian issue without restrictions, and the teacher directs the students to use it to enhance the components of their national identity.

الهدف: هدفت الدراسة التحقق من إجراءات السياسة التعليمية الإسرائيلية على كتاب جغرافية فلسطين وتاريخها الحديث والمعاصر للصف العاشر الأساسي. المنهج: استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي من خلال تحليل محتوى كِتابِ جُغرافِيَّةِ فِلَسطينَ وتاريخِها الحَديثِ والمُعاصِر للصف العاشر بجزئية الأَوَّلِ والثّاني، الصّادِرِ عَنْ وِزارةِ التَّربيةِ والتَّعليمِ الفِلَسطينيَّةِ، ومُحتَوَى الكِتابِ نَفْسِهِ الذي قامَتِ الرّقابةُ الإسرائيليَّةُ في وِزارة المَعارِفِ وَبَلَدِيَّة القدس بِتَغييرِهِ، وتَحديد حَجْمِ التَّغييرِ وَنَوْعِيَّتِهِ، وتمّ استخدام منهجية تحليل المحتوى من خلال مؤشرات لتحديد الهوية الوطنية والتراث الوطني. النتائج: أشارت النتائج الى أَنَّ التّغييرَ في كِتابِ (جغرافيّة فلسطين وتاريخها الحديث والمعاصر) المُحَرَّف للصّفّ العاشر تركّز بشكل أساسيّ في مجالات/عناصر: الوعي بالتّاريخ الوطنيّ والموروث الثّقافيّ بنسبة (35.2%)، ثمّ تقدير أهمّيّة فلسطين الجغرافيّة والطّبيعيّة بنسبة (27.3%). الاستنتاجات: أنّ إجراءات التزوير بأشكالها المختلفة (التحريف، والطمس، والاستبدال) قد مسّت العناصر الرئيسة في تحديد الهوية الوطنية والثقافية والدينية للطلبة الفلسطينيين، مما يعني أنّ سياسات التعليم القائمة بالاحتلال تحاول طمس الهوية الفلسطينية. التوصيات: ضرورة اتِّخاذُ وزارة التربية والتعليم الفلسطينية إِجراءاتٍ وِقائِيَّةً وَفْقَ قَوانينَ دوليّةٍ لحماية المنهاج الفلسطيني من تدخل سلطة الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، والمحافظة على قصص التاريخ الفلسطيني في المناهج التعليمية لتعزيز الهوية الوطنية، وإنشاء وزارة التربية والتعليم الفلسطينية منصة الكترونية فلسطينية تعرض فيها فيديوهات وأنشطة وأوراق عمل حول القضية الفلسطينية دون قيود، وتوجيه المعلم الطلبة لاستخدامها لتعزيز مقومات الهوية الوطنية لديهم.
