Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effect of using educational computrized program based on using basic science processes in the achievement of third graders in Ibn Al Jawzi Model School at Directorate of Irbid. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, the researcher prepared achievement test, and verified its validity and reliability. The sample of the study consisted of (45) third graders. By using the experimental method, the results showed a statistically significant differences at (α = 0.05) in the scientific achievement of the third graders attributed to the method used, in favor of the experimental group. The results also showed no statistically significant difference at the level (α = 0.05) among the third graders in the scientific achievement attributed to sex variable (male, female), or due to the interaction between the method used and sex. The study recommends the implementation of educational computerized programs based on the basic science processes in teaching elementary stage science.

الملخص

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تقصي أثر التدريس باستخدام برمجية تعليمية محوسبة مبنية على استخدام عمليات العلم الأساسية في تحصيل طلبة الصف الثالث الأساسي في مدرسة ابن الجوزي النموذجية في تربية اربد، ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة أعد الباحث اختبار تحصيلي، وتم التحقق من صدقه وثباته. وتكون أفراد الدراسة من (45) طالباً وطالبة من طلبة الصف الثالث الأساسي. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة بعد معالجة البيانات باستخدام المنهج التجريبي أن هناك فرقاً ذو دلالة إحصائية (α = 0.05) في تحصيل طلبة الصف الثالث الأساسي يعزى للطريقة ولصالح المجموعة التجريبية، وأظهرت النتائج أيضاًعدم وجود فرق دال إحصائياً عند (α = 0.05) في تحصيل طلبة الصف الثالث الأساسي يعزى إلى الجنس (ذكر، أنثى)، والتفاعل ما بين الطريقة والجنس، وأوصت الدراسة بتطبيق برمجيات تعليمية تستند على عمليات العلم الأساسية في تدريس العلوم للمرحلة الأساسية.
