Abstract

Objective: The current study aimed to reveal the e-learning skills and their relationship to scientific research skills among postgraduate students in Palestinian universities. Methodology: The study adopted the descriptive analytical approach. The study sample consisted of (54) postgraduate students from Palestinian universities. Two study tools were prepared: an e-learning skills scale and a cognitive test for scientific research skills. Results: The results showed no statistically significant difference at the significance level (α ≤ 0.05) in the use of e-learning skills by postgraduate students attributable to the variable (university, degree, gender). There was no statistically significant difference at the level (α ≤ 0.05) between the mean responses of postgraduate students regarding scientific research skills attributable to the university variable. There was a statistically significant difference at the level (α ≤ 0.05) between the mean responses of postgraduate students regarding scientific research skills attributable to the degree variable in favor of the doctorate. There was a statistically significant difference at the level (α ≤ 0.05) between the mean responses of postgraduate students regarding scientific research skills attributable to the gender variable in favor of female students. There was a statistically significant relationship at the level (α ≤ 0.05) between e-learning skills and scientific research skills. Recommendations: The study presented several recommendations, including the necessity of evaluating students' scientific research skills from time to time to identify their needs and work to provide them with what they need, and enhancing the role of faculty members in developing research skills and e-learning skills among postgraduate students.

الهدف: هدفت الدراسة الحالية الكشف عن مهارات التعلم الالكتروني وعلاقتها بمهارات البحث العلمي لدى طلبة الدراسات العليا بالجامعات الفلسطينية. المنهج: اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. بلغت عينة الدراسة من (54) طالباً من طلبة الدراسات العليا بالجامعات الفلسطينية. تم إعداد أداتي الدراسة وهما مقياس مهارات التعلم الإلكتروني، واختباراً معرفيا لمهارات البحث العلمي. النتائج: أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (α ≤ 0.05) في استخدام طلبة الدراسات العليا لمهارات التعلم الالكتروني تعزي لمتغير (الجامعة، الدرجة العلمية، النوع الاجتماعي). عدم وجود فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (α ≤ 0.05) بين متوسطي استجابات طلبة الدراسات العليا لمهارات البحث العلمي تعزى إلى متغير الجامعة. ووجود فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (α ≤ 0.05) بين متوسطي استجابات طلبة الدراسات العليا لمهارات البحث العلمي تعزى إلى متغير الدرجة العلمية لصالح الدكتوراه. ووجود فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (α ≤ 0.05) بين متوسطي استجابات طلبة الدراسات العليا لمهارات البحث العلمي تعزى إلى متغير النوع الاجتماعي لصالح الطالبات. وجود علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.05 ≥α) بين مهارات التعلم الالكتروني ومهارات البحث العلمي. التوصيات: قدمت الدراسة عدة توصيات منها ضرورة العمل على تقييم مهارات البحث العلمي للطلبة من وقت لأخر للتعرف على احتياجاتهم والعمل على تزويدهم بما يحتاجونه، وتعزيز دور عضو هيئة التدريس في تنمية المهارة البحثية ومهارات التعلم الالكتروني لدى طلبة الدراسات العليا.
