This study aimed at identifying the effect of using information and communication technology on both; technical performance level and some of kinematic variables in backstroke swimming. The sample of the study consisted of (26) students were assigned equally to two groups; an experimental group and a control group. To achieve the objective of this study the researchers using the information and communication technology through technological means included a computer and the Internet to provide the control group educational programs on computer at the backstroke swimming and provide visual feedback to members of the experimental group about their performance using the Internet, two cameras photographed underwater, and another camera above water, along the performance distance. Results of the study showed a significant effect of using information and communication technology in backstroke swimming learning; it was found statistically significant differences between the experimental group and control group in performance skills in backstroke and for benefit of the members of the experimental group, also the researchers found significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in kinematic variables in back- stroke swimming in favor of the experimental group.

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على أثر استخدام تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات على كل من مستوى الأداء المهاري والمتغيرات الكيناماتيكية في سباحة الزحف على الظهر. استخدم الباحثان المنهج التجريبي على عينة الدراسة من طلبة كلية التربية الرياضية في مساق السباحة (2) في الجامعة الأردنية. بلغ عدد أفراد عينة الدراسة (26) طالبا، تم تقسيمهم إلى مجموعتين؛ ضابطة وعددهم (13) وأخرى مجموعة تجريبية وعددهم (13). وتم استخدام تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات من خلال وسيلة تكنولوجية مقترحة تضمنت جهاز الحاسوب، والانترنت، وذلك بتزويد المجموعة الضابطة ببرامج تعليمية محوسبة في سباحة الزحف على الظهر، وتقديم تغذية راجعة بصرية لأفراد المجموعة التجريبية عن أدائهم باستخدام الانترنت وذلك بتصويرهم تحت الماء بكاميرتين، وفوق الماء بكاميرا واحدة طول مسافة الأداء، واستنج الباحثان أن لاستخدام تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات أثراً بالغاً في تعلم سباحة الزحف على الظهر؛ حيث وجد فروقا دالة إحصائيا بين أفراد المجموعة التجريبية والمجموعة الضابطة في الأداء المهاري في سباحة الزحف على الظهر ولصالح المجموعة التجريبية، كما وجد الباحثان فروقاً دالة إحصائيا في المتغيرات الكيناماتيكية لسباحة الزحف على الظهر بين أفراد المجموعة التجريبية والمجموعة الضابطة، ولصالح المجموعة التجريبية.
