This study aimed at recognizing the role of supervion in Palestine in supporting novice teachers, during the first year of choosing them as teachers in Palestine (the northern governorates). The population of the study included all novice teachers who were appointed during the first semester of the academic year 2009/2010, total number was (1590). The selected sample was random stratified. To achieve the purpose of the study, the researchers designed a questionnaire containing (47) items distributed over six domains. The validity and reliability of the questionnaire were examined through educational and statistical methods. The results of the study revealed that the degree of the role of supervion in Palestine in supporting novice teachers is medium, with average of (3.30). Also, the results revealed that there were no statistical significant differences between the means of estimates of the individuals of the sample due to gender and specialization, while the results revealed significant differences between the means of estimates of individuals in the sample due to the geographical area variable. In the light of the results, the researchers suggested a number of recommendations.

هدفت هذه الدراسة التعرف إلى دور الإشراف التربوي في دعم المعلم الجديد في فلسطين (المحافظات الشمالية) كما يرى ذلك المعلمون الجدد أنفسهم، وتكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع المعلمين الجدد الذين تم تعينهم خلال الفصل الأول من العام الدراسي 2009/2010، والبالغ عددهم (1590) معلماً، وتم اختيار عينة طبقية عشوائية، وفق متغيرات الدراسة، بلغ عدد أفرادها (296) معلماً. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة قام الباحثان بتطوير استبانة مكونة من (47) فقرة، موزعة على ستة مجالات، وتم التحقق من صدقها وثباتها بالطرق التربوية والإحصائية المناسبة. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن دور الإشراف التربوي في فلسطين في دعم المعلم الجديد كما يراه المعلمون الجدد أنفسهم كان بدرجة متوسطة على الدرجة الكلية، وبمتوسط حسابي قدره(3.30)، وان دعم المشرف التربوي ومدير المدرسة للمعلم الجديد كان أعلى من دعم الأقران، كما أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات تقديرات أفراد عينة الدراسة لدور الإشراف التربوي في دعم المعلم الجديد تعزى لمتغيري: الجنس، والتخصص، في حين أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغير المنطقة الجغرافية، لصالح منطقتي أقصى الشمال والشمال. وفي ضوء النتائج، أوصى الباحثان بمجموعة من التوصيات.
