Abstract
This study aims at the Approachof the dramatis and poet Atef Al – Farraeyh's dramatic text "When Camels Cried" textually. It seeks to investigate the linguistic and non – linguistic semiotics which are used in the dramatic text. These semiotics sere as its main value and achieve the reasons of its success in conveying its message to the audience, in an effective and wonderful way, whether they are readers of the dramatic text, or spectators of the dramatic performance.This Study tries to test the hypothesis that the dramatic text can be perceived through the act of reading it; which does not apply on all of the dramatic texts.

الملخص
تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى مقاربة مسرحية (عندما بكت الجِمال) للشاعر والمسرحي عاطف الفرّاية مقاربةً نصيّة، تسعى إلى رصد العلامات اللسانية وغير اللسانية، التي حفل بها النص المسرحي، وشكلّت آليات تخدم ثيمته الرئيسة، وتحقق له أسباب النجاح، في إيصال رسالته إلى جمهور المتلقّين، على نحو مدهش ومؤثّر، سواء أكانوا قراءً أم نظّارة يتابعون عَرْضه المسرحيّ.كما تحاول الدراسة اختبار فرضيّة أنّ النصّ المسرحي – موضع البحث – قابلٌ للتلقّي عَبْر فعل القراءةبسبب ما تقدم، وهو الأمر الذي لا ينطبق بالضرورة على النصوص المسرحية جميعها.
