This study aimed to reveal the views and opinions of Al-Aqsa University professors in Palestine, about the reality of the presence of standard Arabic in academic practices at the university, and its relationship with educational attainment, and determine variables that effect on attitudes towards using standard Arabic, besides knowing the professor relationship with challenges facing the Arabic language at the university. The study consists of (65) members of teaching staff - such as the number (28%) of the original population of the study, which reached to (240) members. The researcher has designed a questionnaire to survey the views of respondents, which included (28) items distributed on three axes, and to ensure the stability of the tool, was used coefficient (Cronbach's alpha) reaching to reliability coefficient (0.875), and this shows that the resolution has a high coefficient of constancy, and to analyze the data statistically researcher used the program (spss statistical). Results have shown that (80.31%) of the teachers use standard in their lectures, in contrast (39.08%) of them to use English in lectures, and the percentage of those who use colloquial in lectures (46.46%), while the percentage of the blend between the colloquial and standard is (54.46%), and the percentage of those who use standard more than colloquial is (78.46%). In general, the relative weight of using standard in academic practices is (58.20%). The study also has shown that (67.15%) of the professors have confirmed the presence of the Arabic language at the university, and (74.56%) of members of teaching staff noted that the existence of a strong relationship between Arabic language and educational attainment. The study also announced that the attention-grabbing results have shown that (70.46%) of the teachers are considered primarily responsible for the decline in the Arabic language at the university are professors. The study also showed that there is no statistically significant differences in the views of the teachers on the use of standard Arabic is due to the variables (college or university education or years of experience, sex).

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن آراء ووجهات نظر أساتذة جامعة الأقصى في فلسطين، حول واقع حضور اللغة العربية الفصحى في الممارسات الأكاديمية في الجامعة، وعلاقتها بالتحصيل العلمي، وتحديد المتغيرات التي تؤثر على الاتجاهات نحو استخدام الفصحى، ومعرفة علاقة الأستاذ الجامعي بالتحديات التي تواجه العربية بالجامعة .تكونت الدراسة من (65) عضو هيئة تدريس - مثل هذا العدد (28%) من مجتمع الدراسة الأصلي الذي بلغ عدده (240) عضواً. قام الباحث بتصميم استبانة لاستقصاء آراء أفراد العينة، اشتملت على (28) فقرة موزعة على ثلاثة محاور، وللتأكد من ثبات الأداة، تم استخدام معامل (ألفا كرونباخ) حيث بلغ معامل الثبات(0.875) ، وهذا يدل على أن الاستبانة تتمتع بمعامل ثبات مرتفع، ولتحليل البيانات إحصائياً استخدم الباحث برنامج (spss) الإحصائي .وقد أظهرت النتائج أن (80.31%) من الأساتذة يستخدمون الفصحى في محاضراتهم، في المقابل أشار (39.08%) منهم إلى استخدام اللغة الإنجليزية في المحاضرات، وكانت نسبة من يستخدم العامية في المحاضرات (46.46%) أما نسبة من يمزجون بين العامية والفصحى فهي(54.46%) ، وبلغت نسبة من يستخدمون الفصحى أكثر من العامية (%78.46.( وبشكل عام فإن الوزن النسبي لاستخدام الفصحى في الممارسات الأكاديمية هو (58.20%)، كما أظهرت الدراسة أن (67.15%) من الأساتذة قد أكدوا على حضور اللغة العربية في الجامعة، وأشار (74.56%) من أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية على وجود علاقة متينة بين اللغة العربية والتحصيل العلمي. كما أعلنت الدراسة عن نتائج ملفتة للانتباه، فقد أظهرت أن (70.46%) من الأساتذة قد اعتبروا أن المسئول الأول عن انحسار وتراجع اللغة العربية في الجامعة هم الأساتذة .كما أظهرت الدراسة عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً في آراء الأساتذة حول استخدام العربية الفصحى تعزى لمتغيرات (الكلية أو جامعة الدراسة أو سنوات الخبرة أو الجنس)
