This study aimed at identifying the level of reluctance among the female students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Mu'tah University with regard to practicing football refereeing as well as identifying the reasons why they refuse to practice it according to the study domains and identifying the differences in the reasons for which they refuse to referee football matches according to the variables of ( academic specialization, accumulative average, academic year, and the place of residence). The researchers used the descriptive approach due to its compatibility to the study nature. The study sample consisted of 100 female students from the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Mu'tah University; with 51 Physical Education female students, and 49 sport rehabilitation female students who were chosen randomly. The researcher used the questionnaire as the method of data collection; it consisted of five domains (psychological, social, academic, economic and physical). The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to analyze data. The results showed that the level at which the female students at the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Mu'tah University refuse to practice football refereeing was high, and that the level of their reluctance regarding the following domains (psychological, social, academic, economic and physical) was high. The results showed that there are no statistically significant differences regarding the reasons of refusing to referee football according to the variables of (academic specialization, academic year, and the place of residence), while there are differences regarding accumulative average in favor of those with the estimation of very good. The researchers recommend about the necessity of offering the course of football with all its levels as a compulsory course for the female students.

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف إلىمستوى عزوف طالبات كلية علوم الرياضةفي جامعة مؤتة عن ممارسة تحكيم كرة القدم، والتعرف إلى أهمأسباب عزوفهن وفقاً لمجالات الدراسة، وكذلك التعرف إلى الفروق في أسباب عزوفهن عن ممارسة تحكيم كرة القدم تبعاً لمتغير (التخصص الأكاديمي، المعدل التراكمي، السنة الدراسية، مكان السكن) استخدم الباحثون المنهج الوصفي في الدراسة لملائمته لطبيعة وأهداف الدراسة، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (100) طالبة من كلية علوم الرياضة في جامعة مؤتة، موزع على (51) طالبة تربية رياضية و(49) طالبة تأهيل رياضي، تم اختيارهن بالطريقة العشوائية، واستخدم الاستبيان كأداة لجمع البيانات حيث تكون من خمسة مجالات هي (النفسي، الاجتماعي،الأكاديمي، الاقتصادي،البدني)، واستخدم برنامج الرزم الإحصائي (spss) لتحليل البيانات، وأظهرت النتائج أن مستوى عزوف طالبات كلية علوم الرياضة في جامعة مؤتة عن ممارسة تحكيم كرة القدم جاء مرتفعاً،وأن مستوى عزوفهن بالنسبة للمجالات (النفسي،الاجتماعي، الأكاديمي الاقتصادي، البدني) جاءت بدرجة مرتفعة، وعدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في أسباب عزوفهن عن ممارسة التحكيم لكرة القدم وفقاً لمتغيرات (التخصص الأكاديمي، السنة الدراسية، ومكان السكن)، ووجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في أسباب العزوف تبعاً لمتغير (المعدل التراكمي) ولصالح من تقديرهن جيد جدا، ويوصي الباحثون بضرورة طرح مساق كرة القدم بجميع مستوياته كمادة إجبارية للطالبات وليس كمادة اختيارية.
