The purpose of the study is to investigate the degree of possessing media education skills by Al- Al Bayt university students according to some variables. To achieve this, aim a simple random sample of (420) male and female students from Al- albeit University was selected during the academic year of 2018 out from the population totaling (234050(male and female students. The researcher adopted the descriptive survey approach through a questionnaire consisted of (19) items, the researcher calculated validity and reliability. The findings of the study showed that the degree of possessing media education skills by Al- albeit university students was in an average level on the tool a whole. Further, there are significant statistical differences at the level of (α =0.05) attributed to gender variable in favor of males. There are significant statistical differences at the level of (α =0.05) attributed to college variable in favor of scientific colleges. There are significant statistical differences at the level of (α =0.05) attributed to study year in favor of fourth year students. Based on the findings the study recommended the need to introduce a course specialized in media education as a compulsory requirement for all students.

هدفت الدراسة الحالية التعرف إلى درجة امتلاك طلبة جامعة آل البيت لمهارات التربية الإعلامية في ضوء بعض المتغيرات في الأردن، ولتحقيق أهداف الدّراسة جرى اختيار عينة مكونة من (420) طالبًا وطالبة ممن يدرسون في جامعة آل البيت خلال الفصل الدراسي الثاني لعام (2018)، جرى اختيارهم بطريقة العشوائية البسيطة، من مجتمع الدّراسة البالغ (23405) طالبًا وطالبة. وقد استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي المسحي، حيث صُمم أداة الدراسة لتحقيق هدف الدراسة خاصة واشتملت على (19) فقرة، وجرى التأكد من صدقها وثباتها. حيث توصلت نتائج الدّراسة إلى أن درجة امتلاك طلبة جامعة آل البيت لمهارات التربية الإعلامية جاءت بدرجة متوسطة على أداة الدراسة ككل، وأظهرت نتائج الدّراسة أيضًا وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α =0.05) تعزى لمتغير الجنس ولصالح الطلبة الذكور، ووجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α =0.05) تعزى لمتغير الكلية ولصالح الكليات العلمية، ووجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α =0.05) تعزى لمتغير السنة الدراسية ولصالح طلبة السنة الرابعة، وتوصي الدّراسة بناءً على ما تقدم من نتائج ضرورة استحداث مساق جامعي متخصص في التربية الإعلامية يكون إجباري لجميع طلبة الجامعة.
