This study aimed to identify the facilities provided by Jordanian universities for deaf-mute students. The study was based on the descriptive approach. A questionnaire was constructed to collect data that included two fields: academic services available to Deaf-Mute students, and administrative services available to Deaf-Mute students. The study sample consisted of (86) deaf-mute students in Jordanian universities. After data collection SPSS was used to analyze the results. The results showed that the academic and administrative services facilities provided by Jordanian universities for deaf-mute students were moderate. The results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in the responses of deaf-mute students about the academic and administrative facilities provided by the Jordanian universities and facilities as a whole due to the variables of gender and academic specialization. The researcher recommended the need for faculty members to rely on teaching methods suited to the requirements and needs of deaf and dumb students.

هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى التسهيلات التي تقدمها الجامعات الأردنية للطلبة ذوي الإعاقة من فئة الصم والبكم. واعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي، وتمَّ بناء استبانة لجمع البيانات اشتملت على مجالين: الخدمات الأكاديمية المتاحة للطلبة الصم والبكم، والخدمات الإدارية المتاحة للطلبة الصم والبكم، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (86) طالباً وطالبةً من فئة الصم والبكم في الجامعات الأردنية، وبعد جمع البيانات تم استخدام برنامج (SPSS) لتحليل النتائج. أظهرت النتائج أنَّ تسهيلات الخدمات الأكاديمية التي تقدمها الجامعات الأردنية للطلبة الصم والبكم جاءت بدرجة متوسطة، وجاءت تسهيلات الخدمات الإدارية التي تقدمها الجامعات الأردنية للطلبة الصم والبكم بدرجة متوسطة. وأشارت النتائج إلى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في استجابات الطلبة الصم والبكم حول التسهيلات الأكاديمية والإدارية التي تقدمها الجامعات الأردنية والتسهيلات ككل تعزى لمتغيري الجنس، والتخصص الأكاديمي. وأوصت الباحثة بضرورة قيام أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالاعتماد على طرق وأساليب تدريس تناسب متطلبات واحتياجات طلبة الصم والبكم.
