Aim: This study aims to highlight the reality of music education in Jordan, including the broad concept of education, which encompasses both specific Curricula and general Cultural aspects, it also explores its impact on Students, musical taste at Yarmouk university’s Faculty of Fine Arts. The study also seeks to explore the extent of focus on enhancing musical culture among youth and its effect on shaping musical taste among university students. Method: The research adopted a descriptive-analytical methodology, analyzing students’ responses to a questionnaire to assess the current state of music education in Jordan. The findings confirm the limited focus on music education at the national level and its weak presence in educational institutions, and its impact on Students’ musical taste, and its role in shaping their appreciation for music at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Yarmouk University. Results: The study concluded with a set of findings that answered the research questions, confirming the limited focus on music education at the national level of Jordanian musical culture, and its weak presence in the educational and teaching domains. Conclusion: The study recommends enhancing courses that develop musical appreciation and critical analysis skills among students, particularly those that focus on enhancing students' musical taste and strengthening their standards of musical criticism.

الهدف: جاءت هذه الدراسة بهدف الإضاءة على واقع التعليم الموسيقي في الأردن، بما يمكن أن يتضمنه المفهوم الواسع للتعلّم من أطر تعليمية تربوية خاصة، وثقافية عامة؛ ودراسة أثره على الثقافة الموسيقية. كما تسعى الدراسة للبحث في مدى الاهتمام بتعزيز الثقافة الموسيقية لدى النشء، وأثر ذلك على بنية الذائقة الموسيقية لدى الشباب الجامعي. المنهج: استندت الدراسة على منهجية وصفية تحليلية تناولت إجابات الطلبة -عينة الدراسة- على أسئلة الاستبانة التي أعدت لغايات الدراسة، للوقوف على واقع التعليم الموسيقي في الأردن وأثره على الثقافة الموسيقية، ودوره في بناء الذائقة الموسيقية لدى طلبة كلية الفنون الجميلة في جامعة اليرموك. النتائج: خلصت الدراسة إلى جملة من النتائج أجابت من خلالها على أسئلة الدراسة، وأكدت على محدودية الاهتمام بالتعليم الموسيقي على الصعيد العام للثقافة الموسيقية الأردنية، وضعف حضوره على الصعيد التربوي التعليمي. التوصيات: أوصت الدراسة بضرورة الاهتمام بالمساقات الدراسية وتعزيز الدورات التي تطور تقدير الموسيقى ومهارات التحليل النقدي لدى الطلبة، لا سيما تلك التي تركز على تعزيز ذوق الطلاب الموسيقي وتقوية معاييرهم النقدية الموسيقية.
