The editorial decision for the manuscripts is based on their scientific quality, originality, methodological quality, and relevance, and the decision is taken by the Editor-in-Chief of the journal. The journal’s editorial board members and the reviewers are required to make disclosures about any potential conflicts of interest, and the editorial board members with potential conflicts of interest are not involved in the evaluation and decision of the manuscripts with which they have a potential conflict of interest. The journal’s editorial board also ensures the confidentiality of the peer-review process and the manuscripts submitted for review and publication at the journal.
